Squid & Octopus is a classic savoury fishing bait flavour concentrate, combining deep squid and octopus base notes with subtle spicy and herbal undertones. Formulated at manufacturing strength, this highly concentrated flavour has become a firm favourite among bait makers producing fishmeal-based boilies and other savoury bait formulations.
Although exceptionally pungent in its concentrated form, the flavour develops into a much more balanced savoury profile once diluted and incorporated into bait, producing the rich fish, spice and herb character for which this classic profile is well known.
A recommended starting inclusion rate of just 0.2% (2g per kilogram) is suitable for most bait applications, allowing a single 10ml bottle to flavour up to 5kg of solid bait, depending on your bait formulation and boil or steam times.
As with all flavour concentrates, the optimum inclusion rate will vary depending on your recipe, processing method and overall attractor package, with experienced bait makers often adjusting inclusion levels to suit their own formulations.

Each order includes a Bait Flavours Recommended Inclusion Guide, containing suggested starting inclusion rates for a wide range of bait applications.
As a starting point, we have a safe recommended minimum 0.2% inclusion rate when using our fishing bait flavour concentrates. This equates to just 2g per kilo of solid bait produced in most applications but some minor adjustments can be made to suit your preferred end result. Please note that boiling/ steaming times and/or excessive temperature for prolonged periods will influence how fast a heat stable flavour degrades. Returns Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Bait Flavours. Unopened bottles of flavoring can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. However, please note that opened bottles cannot be returned or refunded. If you have any questions or concerns about your order, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team. We're here to help!
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
